Every table, and what it holds
All twenty tables this press sets, in four groups, with the real count of what each one holds and how many sheets it takes.
Four groups
Twenty tables, falling into four kinds that behave differently on the sheet.
Multiplication charts are a grid read in from two edges, and the grid is symmetrical about its diagonal: 7 times 8 and 8 times 7 are the same product printed twice. That is why the count of distinct answers always runs well under the count of cells – 144 cells but 59 distinct products on the 1 to 12 chart, 900 cells but 308 distinct on the 1 to 30.
Hundred squares are always ten cells across. The rows run left to right, so a column of one is a run of tens. They are also the only sheets that carry shading: on the primes chart, 25 of the 100 cells are shaded.
Number charts are the same run of numbers without the fixed width, set as many across as asked for. The 1 to 20 chart is five across and four down; the rest are ten across. They are the only sheets that run past a single page, at two sheets for 1 to 200 and ten for 1 to 1000.
Place value charts hold no numbers whatever. They are named columns over empty ruled rows, and what varies between them is how many columns are named and how many rows are ruled.

Two kinds of blank
Two of the twenty have their numbers taken out, and they do not come out the same way. The place value charts are not counted here: they never carry numbers to take out, so all three of them are ruled and empty by nature rather than by setting. The blank multiplication chart still prints 24 numerals, the two runs of headings along its edges, because without them the grid cannot be read in from anywhere. The blank hundred square prints none at all: a hundred square carries no headings, so with the numbers taken out there is no type left on the sheet, and the file is ruling and nothing else. It is the only table here with no type size, because it has no type.
